Come intern with us!

Brite Revolution is currently seeking an Editorial Intern to assist our Music Editor and other staff members with day-to-day operations. Brite Revolution is a music-tech startup that shares hand-selected artists with our subscribers, in order to promote and support up-and-coming talent and music. The website places a major emphasis on editorial content to curate and spotlight our favorite selections. This content includes full-length features from interviews, album reviews and other relevant articles, in addition to other site content (such as exclusive releases and music downloads).

Responsibilities:
Fact-checking, transcription, proofreading, posting content to the website, corresponding with writers regarding scheduling, payment, etc., occasional assistance with social media efforts, and other office-related tasks as needed. You will also be given the opportunity to pitch and contribute articles.

Requirements:
-Must be currently enrolled in a college/university as a Journalism, English, Communications, or closely-related major
-Must be currently living in Nashville, TN
-Must be able to commit 15-20 hours per week in the office
-Strong working knowledge of APA style and guidelines with the ability to apply these, as well as have previous experience using them
-Strong interest and knowledge in current music and industry trends is preferred
-Plans to work in journalism or related industry are preferred
-Must have own transportation
-Must have own laptop
