Declan McGarry

Declan McGarry is a walking contradiction. His name sounds like he should be tossing cabers in the northern highlands, his driver’s license says he’s from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and his music feels like he could go toe-to-toe with any music row veteran here in Nashville. One thing that nobody will contradict, however: Declann McGarry is legit.

His songs are thoughtful, his vocals are pure and his arrangements grab you by the collar and shake. McGarry’s music is Neil Young meets Springsteen with a Nashville twist. If you love singer/songwriters whose catalogs split their time between acoustic driven ballads and big production (that doesn’t become impersonal), then McGarry is for you!
