The Apache Relay

You may feel like one of the pack when you come upon The Apache Relay. There is a familiarity here. No, it's not another "run for the woods" relay for the heavyset kids, which is the namesake of the band from the classic Disney movie, Heavyweights.

Holding a smoking pistol, The Apache Relay starts a race for the masses filled with songs for the living and breathing.

Essentially culminating out of a Nashville college dorm, these four friends are pioneering a road that is familiar, but still in the process of paving. Mix in a punk rock Bad Brains bumper sticker ... jazz lessons ... The Beatles ... mountain music ... a worship of Phil Spector ... the sparks from Arcade Fire, and somewhere in between is where these boys reside.

Already on the fumes of their second album, American Nomad, and a declaration of being the "Best Of What's Next" by Paste Magazine, Apache seem to be driving a car that is heading toward something you will want to ride shotgun on. So, hop on in.
