Judah & the Lion

Judah & the Lion is a Nashville folk band with a unique bluegrass vibe. Lead singer and guitarist, Judah Akers, 22, mandolinist, Brian Macdonald, 19, and banjo player Nate Zuercher, 20, formed Judah & The Lion in December 2011 as a way to passionately praise God while using their gifts. From different parts of the country, the band met in college at Belmont University and recorded their first EP, First Fruits, in April 2012. Akers says the band's purpose and goal is "to offer up a sweet offering of praise to God but with the fire, passion and authority of a lion."
